We serve as your voice in the Capitol and around the state, working for policies that benefit you, your community, and Wisconsin’s business climate.
OUTREACH
We serve as a voice in the media and elsewhere in the public sphere for community-minded business owners and independent professionals. In particular, we make a strong business case for public education, infrastructure investments (including renewable energy and broadband), and maintaining our state’s high quality of life.
We also host events in communities around the state.
POLICY
Our executive director, Lori Compas, is a registered lobbyist. She works with state legislators and policy experts to develop and support common-sense policies that improve Wisconsin’s business climate while protecting our quality of life. Learn more about the issues we support.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
We’re currently building local chapters around the state. In coming years these local “Action Teams” will work with our partner foundation, the Wisconsin Business Foundation, and local Chambers of Commerce and/or citizen groups to catalyze economic development projects in Wisconsin’s smaller cities and rural areas.
BUSINESS SERVICES
Our members have access to a free legal hotline and are given the opportunity to be listed in our online directory, which will be published in June 2013. In the future we’ll offer more member services as well as member-to-member discounts.
